In our first suspension based on the zero tolerance headshot policy, Boston's Brad Stuart has been suspended for two games for his vicious hit on Niklas Hagman that left him injured for a month.

Nick Tarnasky and Antoine Vermette are also injured on intent to injure penalties, but the board has decided not to suspend these two individuals for their actions.

A couple exciting overtime games and a shootout highlight an 8-pack of EHEC games tonight.

Positives:
Three goals from the bottom six. Boyle and Hejduk continue scoring.
Jokinen, Markov, Green = beasts.

Negatives:
The usual. Special teams, defense, goaltending, I don't know who's to blame, but it's all terrible. Maybe it's just true Capitals hockey?
AO/Backstrom continue to be invisible. Even though AO is leading the league in shots and has 9 points, he isn't playing like he should.

You can out shoot the leafs but you can never out score them. Hahaha

Gustavsson has a good night in his season debut. Grabby and Hagman notch 3 points each despite the effort from Brad Stuart to take Hagmans head off. AND my boy Radim has a HUGE night with two goals and two assists. PP looked alright, and the PK wasn't very busy but was perfect.

The Coyotes are once again able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I don't think there's been a game this season where we haven't outshot the opponent, but the goaltending has been fucking atrocious. :(

The last four games have been un-winnable with any line combination, but I'm more disappointed in Lake Erie's 2 game losing streak.
