I'm not sure if Andrew is working on an epic writeup, but anyway, the sim was done and here are the brief results:

PIT takes an early lead on NYR and never quite gives it up. Jake Oettinger is the Rangers' goat while Jack Campbell is the sort of average nondescript quadruped that you wouldn't necessarily assign blame or credit to. Congrats to the Penguins for coming back from down 3-1 with two road wins.

Over in Tronna, the Leafs also gave up an early lead to the Habs but retook the lead by the 9 minute mark. Artem Anisimov got the insurance marker early in the third. The Habs got back within one thanks to Jimmy Hayes' second of the game, but the Leafs held on for the narrow 3-2 regulation win.

Congrats to the winners/commiserations to the nonvictorious.
