Back in St. Petersburg, the Bolts are off to the races with a Jon Toews goal in the first minute and a Crosby tally just after 5. Cole Sillinger gets his seventh of the playoffs in the first shift of the second period to halve the lead, but that's as close as the Sens got. Brent Gates and David Pastrnak widened the lead late in the second and Brandon Carlo made it a seemingly insurmountable 5-1 in the opening minute of the third. The Sens did claw it back to within 2 goals after a not-so-rare unassisted tally from Max Jones and a late Noah Hanifin blast, but evidently that wasn't enough to compel 72-year-old head coach Jacques Martin to pull the goalie. OTT remains up 2-1.
