Re: November 17, 2010
A couple knockdown, drag out slugfests with the late games tonight as the 'Yotes lose Michalek for a week in the process of beating the Flames. My Jackets and the Kings combine to take just 33 shots on goal, but Rick Nash nets the game winner in overtime. On the East Coast, the Rangers take down Boston in a shootout while the Thrashers take a big two points in the race for the number one pick. The Canucks choke one away against the Pens and all is well in Washington D.C for a night as the Capitals roll the Sabres.

Ryan was down and out with a stomach bug tonight. If able, he'll pick up my Thursday night sim.

Re: November 17, 2010
Nice, my PK is +1 on the night and despite Greiss's best efforts he managed to win his first game. Clowe and Couture are beasts while Rozsival is finally starting to earn his fat paycheque. I won't even begrudge Upshall his first goal of the season, dude is a solid grinder.
1/9 PP is not too impressive though, that needs to get going. I guess drawing 9 penalties is good, considering it made Parise and Stastny play a whopping 26 minutes combined.

Re: November 17, 2010
awesome...my third 4-2 loss to Edmonton in a calendar month. kick a$$.
Re: November 17, 2010
Michalek always seems to get hurt, so I guess that's not the end of the world... at least it'll give Kurt Sauer a chance at some playing time without having to hire someone to break Jim Vandermeer's legs. Phoenix keeps on rolling; not a single regulation time loss in the last ten games after a bit of a slow start.

Hey, a shootout win! No full moon either! And congrats to Ryan McDonagh for his first NHL goal!
Re: November 17, 2010
I'm both unimpressed and pleased to see Brian Boyle outscoring Alexander Ovechkin from the third line.
