In Toronto, OTT's Corson Ceulemans had 2G+1A and a +4 rating in a 6-1 rout of the Leafs, whose Patrick Geary finished -5. Shots were tilted 29-19 in OTT's favour, and they now lead the series 2-1.

In Steeltown South, the Penguins got an early-ish lead from Boldy with a reply from Necas to finish period 1 tied 1-1. DeBrincat and Boldy again gave them a 3-1 lead heading into the third. In the third, Necas replied and Michael Dal Colle scored the tying goal to send the game to OT. There, the Rangers got the critical first shot but didn't score. Instead, Jesper Boqvist took a tripping penalty and Jack Hughes scored on the second shot of the frame to give PIT the win and a 2-1 series lead.
