The NHL dropped this rule years ago and I don't think our rule was ever clear on how it's supposed to work. Like, are teams really meant to drop to the bottom of the list for the rest of the season after making a single claim? That doesn't really make sense to me.

Age 23 or less: You don't need to post anything.
Age 24 and up: Waivers only when sent down.

This should be: Washington demotes Nick Sorensen (not waiver eligible).

And, because he isn't waiver eligible, you don't need to post it. You can just send him down via GMO.
