The Habs rush out to an early lead, possibly on the first shot of the game just 53 seconds in, but Dal Colle and Nash respond to retake the lead for the Rangers barely 8 minutes in. Thereafter, the teams trade goals as the Rangers seem to fade away (outshot 11-7 in the 2nd and 13-5 in the third), held in by Tuukka Rask's superior goaltending. Rask's stickhandling comes through in overtime as he threads, a, uh, breakout pass? ... to Novak, who drops it to the pinching blueliner Lindholm who scores on, naturally, the first shot of the period? Okay, I'm having trouble visualizing that one, but that's what happened.
