Bruins' Sign Depth Players

The offseason has been fairly quiet in Boston but today the Bruins announced the signing of future hall-of-famer forward Keith Tkachuk and goaltenders Ray Emery and Manny Fernandez.

Tkachuk seems to be a veteran replacement for Mark Recchi and Brendan Shanahan and will be the teams' 13th or 14th forward on most nights. Emery is expected to get the most icetime of the 3 with the 10-11 squad. He has been sought after by management since last off season. With the additions, former Vezina winner Tim Thomas will either be starting next year or traded.
