To New Jersey:
Blake Clarke (74)
Matthew Beattie (51)
Anton Volchenkov (80)
To Florida:
Sebastian Aho - F (72)
Yakov Trenin (68)
Shane Pinto (75)
Luca Sbisa (84)
TOR 4th 2022
Panthers accept. Clarke is the best player in the deal but was under threat of an offer sheet. Aho has some room to grow on OF and DF and adds a sixth legit top 6 forward for FLA. Beattie is a cap dump and Volchenkov for Sbisa saves the Panthers 50k. Trenin and Pinto are solid physical bottom sixers in the making. This gives Florida more roster and cap flexibility.

Re: NJ/FLA
NJ has umpteen playmaking wingers that I don't know what to do with, but also enough cap space to offer sheet almost any of the available juicy targets. Clarke provides a lot of what NJ's forward group is missing and Beattie will be flippable at the deadline. Trenin and Pinto are useful cheap bottom sixers but NJ doesn't need to rummage around for league minimum players at this point, so they can go.
Also, it's reasonably thematic for New Jersey to make offers that are difficult to refuse.
