Sim's up.
CHI/TB blockbuster is due to be input but I don't know how to trade injured players (instructions say trades are done in-game, where Toews isn't available to be traded), so that'll have to be done by someone who knows what they're doing. Sorry.

Great game by Ryan Pilon. We can't be having any more of that, so here's your plane ticket!
For the record for simmers:
* supposedly the reason for this is that players are vulnerable to re-aggravating the injury for another 100 days after they're nominally healthy. I'm skeptical of this because the number doesn't seem to go down from 100 to 99 after the player returns from DtD.
For the record for simmers:
Activating Montour from DtD would have been sufficient to enter lines. Some teams just don't have enough players at appropriate positions to auto lines (e.g. those with D who can also play wing).HabsGM wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 9:51 pm Admin Notes:
-I did not input Dallas' new lines (they didn't have a game tonight), as it is showing not enough D and LW (I think it was LW) on the pro roster. Montour is DtD, but I know there was some salary cap issues so I didn't touch anything - Dallas does not play again until Thursday, so at the moment no harm no foul.
You have to go to statistics.ehm to un-injure the player. For Toews, for example, the end of his player.ehm record is on line 13780; divide by 20 and you get his player number (689). Multiply by 25 and add 1 and you get the line number of the last line of his entry in statistics.ehm (17226). The last number is the player id (689 again, just to verify). The first number is the number of days in his injury plus 100* (so he's out for 34 days). Edit that number to, say, 102 so that the player goes to day-to-day (but doesn't lose the injury entirely), reload the sim, enter the trade, edit that number back to what it was originally. Yes it's a pain in the ass and no I don't know of a better way to do it.

Should note, playerscout displays the player's ID, which seems like an easier way to get that (assuming the simmer has playerscout and it works, of course)SharksGM wrote: ↑Thu Nov 18, 2021 12:18 am For Toews, for example, the end of his player.ehm record is on line 13780; divide by 20 and you get his player number (689).
