A active Friday night in the EHEC, with the spotlight being on the Capitals visiting the Blue Jackets. While on paper there may have been more marquee matchups around the league tonight, what happened in the last 16 seconds of the game will be on highlight reels for years to come.
Columbus gave their fans something to cheer about in the 1st, taking a 2-0 lead into the intermission. Washington came back to tie it going into the 2nd intermission, and then Washington's Joonas Donskoi scored what would be the eventual winner early in the frame.
With Columbus pressing to tie the game late, tempers flared and a 5 on 5 brawl ensued in the final moments of the game. Maxime Comtois cross checked Ilya Nikolaev to the ground, exclaiming "What kind of a name is Joonas, anyway? More like Joo-SUCK!" - Nikolaev was not going to lay down and take it, though, as he continued to lay down, but tripped Comtois to the ground.
Mikko Rantanen (CBS) then came in and started hooking Nikolaev, which was an odd play since Nikolaev was on the ground.
Tom Kuehnhackl (WSH) showed up, quoted as saying "Wow, you just love hooking that much, don't you? You stupid hooker"
Luke Kunin (CBS) arrived on the scene, and he and Kuehnhackl got to fighting.
Trevor Zegras (CBS) then skated over, "What's wrong with hookers?", which was an honest man's question.
Gregory Hofmann (WSH), who many years ago was scarred for life when his credit card declined at a brothel, overheard this and immediately snapped on Zegras, the two fighting off to the corner.
Lias Andersson (WSH) finally showed up, cause whoever has read this far is probably wondering about Lias Andersson. Well, Lias looked at Jason Dickinson (CBS) and asked if he had any stock tips. Jason Dickinson shook his head, which prompted Lias to punch Dickinson in the face. A fight ensued, as one might imagine would happen at this point.
Noah Juulsen (CBS) grabbed a hold of Brent Burns (WSH) and yelled "KIT KAT SUCKS!" - despite the valid point, Burns didn't take too kindly to this and began chomping at Juulsen. The refs later decided this was, of course, also fighting.
That only left two players without dance partners. Cody Ceci (WSH) was seen paying Brandon Gormley (CBS) off in the corner so that Gormley wouldn't fight him. Gormley skated off the ice, satisfied with the deal, while Ceci turned to the cameraman (who had for some reason been allowed on the ice) and yelled "EVERYBODY'S GOT A PRICE, FOR THE THOUSAND DOLLAR MAN! HAHAHAHA!"

LOL love it. I'll tell Brandon he's either a pussy or corrupt. Talked to him last week, he's in his first year in the KHL.HabsGM wrote: ↑Fri Nov 26, 2021 10:11 pm Homepage, Schedule & Results, League Save File

Andersson asking for stock tips is my favourite part.
The Colorado Avalanche - missing the playoffs every year since EHEC began UNTIL NOW! PLAN THE PARADE BABY
