The 3rd period was the charm for many tonight, with the Sabres coming from behind with 4 unanswered in the 3rd to beat Boston 5-4, the Lightning grab the game tying goal with 4 seconds remaining against the Flames and both teams settled for a tie, Edmonton doubled up Anaheim 6-3 after a 3 goal 3rd period, Florida ran away from Colorado with 3 of their own in the third to win 6-2, and rounding out the evening my Canadiens really, really suck.

There's the yearly Team 1 vs. Team 2 game for me. No surprise my Panthers snapped out of their funk at the expense of my Avs. Robak and Saveliev combined for 13 hits and 13 takeaways. Pretty solid outing for Dylan Wells in his Panthers debut.

Konovalov allowed six goals on 32 shots... might be time to give Carter "not a starter" Hart another shot.
