Unexpected extra sim for me, as Dan is busy. He promptly gets punished with a 4-1 loss to the Ducks.

Boston continues to hold onto 8th in the east with an overtime victory over the Islanders.

Zayde Wisdom scored in his first NHL game, as my Wings came back from 3-1 down to tie Carolina (5 of 6 goals scored on the powerplay)

Calgary went up 3-0 in the first on their Alberta rivals, only to give up 4 straight to lose.

Chicago officially (I think) clinches 8th in the west with a 5-3 victory over the Blues, consequently diminishing the importance of Arizona's 3-1 defeat of the Kings.

The Devils decided to try to fight-to-avoid-Wright, picking up an OT win over the Leafs. Though the Leafs were eliminated by Boston's earlier win, so the loss didn't matter too much.
