Victoria Day lives up to its name for the Sens, who don't skip a beat inserting Dustin Brown into the lineup in place of Lavoie, doubling up the Bolts in shots and outscoring them 5-1. The Sens are the first team to book a ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals as a result.

Meanwhile, over in the only competitive series of this round (no offense), the Pens score on the powerplay and put up another 9 shots, but are taken down in a tight 3-2 game by Russians old and new (Ovechkin and Amirov). Montreal grabs home ice back and will try to freeze the Penguins in game 6 to guarantee a Canadian Eastern champ.

If it's any consolation (its not) OTT is a great team, you got SLAMMED with bad injuries to Kassian/Fowler (ESPECIALLY Fowler), and you got a good team still for the foreseeable future.
