DET/NYR

Post by NYRNYRNYR »

NYR Receives:
Alexei Kolosov [83]
NYR 2nd 2023

DET Receives
Cameron Whitehead [86]
NYR 2nd 2024

NYR accepts. I am considering potential offer sheets since there seems to be some decent players getting "lowball" QOs (I know its by rule, read as 'undervalue'). This may be a year it actually works because 1sts next year give you a shot at the trio of Bedard/Mitchkov/Fantilli, all of who are currently projected at above Slafkovsky. I don't know if I'll do it or not, but I want the opportunity. Costs me the later year 2nd and a slight downgrade/sidegrade in back up goalie. (Both goalies are 76 POT, Kolosov is 1 year older, and 50K cheaper, womp womp). Thanks DET. As promised, Nando Eggenberger isn't a target

Confirmed, figure the very slight upgrade in future backup goalies is worth it to wait an extra year on the pick ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
