Ok, accept Kuehnhackl and Smith -- 4 years each, plus 2way for Smith.
Kiselevich in game will take 440K for 2 years, plus TO and 2way.
Thanks.

Re: NY Rangers Offers/Extensions
Sorry for the delay...
Awards have been determined in the PM Bouchard and Corey Perry arbitrations.
PMB
Length: 4 years
GM proposal: 4.5M per; comps: Backstrom, Frolik
Agent proposal: 5.3M per; comps: Perry
It's refreshing to see a case where both sides understand when a player deserves a raise. Bouchard made 4.08M last season and had a fine year, leading the Rangers in goals, assists, points, and ice time among forwards. His PL skills are elite and his 76 PO prevents him from being a complete waste defensively like some offensive guys are. He's a quality skater and stays out of the box. Also, as Pat notes, what's nice about PMB is that he's a LW/RW, so he's more flexible, especially with the defensive shortcomings.
With nine game winning goals, Bouchard had the game winner in 36% of the Rangers' ROW this season. That's a clutch player leading by example. Bouchard does have some defensive shortcomings. He only managed four takeaways and accidentally bumped into a guy 32 times. He managed to be +3 for a team that was -62 in goal differential, even though 22 of his 71 points came on the powerplay. He's a valuable commodity and a player who deserves a raise, as both parties suggested.
4.75M seems like a reasonable number for what Bouchard brings to the table. It's nicely between both numbers and he's close to a point-per-game player.
Pat, you can accept/reject this award.
Perry
Length: 4 years
GM proposal: 5.5M per; comps: Zajac, Carter
Agent proposal: 5.5M per; comps: Semin, Cammalleri
Not much discussion here. Both sides are in agreement at 5.5M.

Re: NY Rangers Offers/Extensions
Smith wants 1.2M. Didn't like the 800k suggestion.
I offered Kiselevich 525k, will lower to 500k. I imagine his fastsim average is above 60, and if not, he'll get there.

Turns 25 in February, so you can abandon the two-way and see if he'll clear waivers if you ever need to call him up. I'm guessing the TW is the problem.

Yeah, it's the 2way that's the problem -- most guys when they hit 70oa don't like those two way deals.
Lop off the 2way and it's all good. For now.

Henrik Lundqvist
Terms: 1 year
GM proposal: $5,900,000; comps: Luongo, Fleury, Kiprusoff
Agent proposal: $6,666,666.66; comps: Luongo, Miller, Backstrom
The biggest non-rights arbitration case of the off-season. Lundqvist's got the top CON in the league at his position and a great OA. Both agent and GM agree that Lundqvist is the second best goalie in the file behind Luongo. A lot of these comps were signed before EHEC too, so in a way Lundqvist is setting the precedence for elite veteran EHEC goalie arbitration.
In a recent arbitration case, Miller's agent felt he deserved a slight pay cut to $5.75M. Kiprusoff will still likely command above that as a UFA. So that brings Luongo. He's vastly underpaid, as his AAV is lowered due to his NHL contract circumvention. Without that tacky $1M/year bullshit added to the end of the contract, he's worth (or close to) his actual salary of $6.7M. The fact that Lundqvist is willing to play on a rebuilding roster must be taken into account as well. With all this in mind, I'll award Lundqvist $6.4M.

An award has been determined in the case of Hank "Dreamboat" Lundqvist.
The first thing this arbitrator had to decide is nothing, because the GM offered $7.1M and the agent awarded $6.75M. So as per usual policy, the GM wins. Hank gets $7.1M x 3 years.

An award has been determined for Liam Liston.
Term: 3 years
GM proposal: $1.3M, comparables: Gudlevskis, Anderson, Stolarz
Agent proposal: $1.5M, comparables: Morrison, Stolarz
Liston is a decent backup who a fair season behind King Henrik, and is likely to keep the same role over the length of his contract. His attributes are below those of his nearest reasonable comparables like Stolarz and Dansk, but his performance was considerably better nonetheless. He outplayed Morrison, who was terrible even in the AHL. Anderson had a better season, to be fair, but he was also signed as a UFA reclamation project after two awful seasons of his own.
Given his acceptable performance and his GM's fondness for Liams, Liston appears willing to accept a pay cut in exchange for staying on a resurgent Rangers team. However, the full 13% reduction is a bit harsh considering a qualifying offer would have been a 10% raise and the 1.5M figure was proposed by the GM just last offseason, so I'll split the difference and award 1.4M for 3 years.
