Confirmed. Since Winnipeg has like 14 first rounders in '24 and '25, I feel they can afford to give one up. They have the cap space for Kane, and could really use a playmaking centre to play with some of the great shooters they have, as their two best ones are more defense-oriented. I think they're a good enough team that adding a player makes sense.
