To Edmonton
NYR 2nd round 2023
Luke Tuch (68)
To New York
David Perron (65)
With my recent trades, Perron is stuck on my third line and there's no way I can bring him back next season. Might as well get a decent return now.
Tuch will be a physical presence on my bottom 6 for many years and a 2nd rounder is always a good asset.
Easy dealing this time around!

Re: EDM/NYR
Confirmed (with the addition of the 50% retention in the follow up post).
Dealing with EDM was so nice that I figured, why not twice? Shockingly I find myself looking for a bit of a rental at W to fill an, I dunno, Lucic-sized hole? Perron will, in all likelihood, be a pure rental, but he's a solid player who can play anywhere I need. My offense is stacked with DEF-oriented players, so a guy like Perron is a nice addition.
Thanks for the deal, very smooth. Enjoy Tuch he's a fun grinder and any pick in 2023 is likely to be a decent-to-good at a minimum
