Homepage, Schedule & Results, League Save File

Sorry for the lateness, but also not sorry cause I have a life and job ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, with Trevor Zegras missing from the lineup due to injury, his spot as first line centre was filled by Stefan Matteau. And not only was Matteau playing his first NHL game of the season, but he scored an unassisted goal, to give Columbus a 2-1 lead over Toronto. The Leafs would tie it up, but the Blue Jackets held on to the tie, despite Matteau spending the last ~2 minutes of overtime in the penalty box.

Meanwhile, the Broad Street Bullies might be back, much to Winnipeg's chagrin. Sami Vatanen set the tone for the game, getting 5min for spearing at 7:39 of the first, though I'm not sure who his victim was. The Flyers proceeded to give up 6 more powerplays, with the Jets going 0 for 7 overall. Halfway through, the Jets were holding onto a 2-1 lead, but then gave up 5 straight, including a 3rd period hat-trick for Steven Stamkos.

There were 9 other games but nothing jumped out to me.

Natty Hatty's are the best. Even if it is on a rival opponent, game respect game man.

And oh hey, we won. All is forgiven, hurryupandgetbackTavares...
