With just 12 games played this season, McDonaugh doesn't really have a place on this team, we have too many d-men so getting 3rd round draft pick and a prospect is a nice return. We couldn't even afford to re-sign him anyway.

1. The Trade Committee evaluates every trade from both teams’ perspective before giving a ruling. During the season, trades are allowed 48 hours for evaluation. If no objection is raised, the trade is entered in the next sim following this period. No one has raised any issues but you still have to wait the time period
