Late starts for game 3, presumably because it's the Western conference so they're two or three hours behind
Anyway, Kuehnhackl and Kent Johnson get Anaheim going, taking a 2-0 lead in the first, before Tarasenko gets one back for the Sharks in the middle of the second. However, just before the end of the second, Tarasenko gets called for cross-checking, with Kuehnhackl scoring his second of the game on the powerplay. Kenny Ryan gets a high-sticking penalty soon after, and Karpukhin makes it 4-1. The two teams then exchanged goals, Kolesar and Kakko bringing the Sharks within two before Kane and Barzal returned the lead to three. Anaheim wins 6-3, their first of the series.
Things were relatively back-and-forth over in Nashville, with the Wild holding a 2-1 lead at the end of the first through McKeown and Dube (former PM Stephen Harper responding for the Preds), then Shipley and Kurker put Nashville in front in the second. Leonard evened things up midway through the third, but Jankowski of all people scored the winner, with Mendel adding some insurance. Nashville's 5-3 win gives them a 2-1 lead in the series.

That didn't go nearly as well as the test sims.
I guess I should be satisfied with the team being 6-4 so far despite how absolutely godawful a good half of the players have been.
