We were pretty close to starting off the night with 3 3-3 ties, but CBS & PHI had to spoil things by scoring an extra goal each. No more ties for the rest of the night but some consequential upsets as NJ beats OTT (thanks to less-than-stellar goaltending by Pickard) and MTL beats TB while holding them to just 13 shots. WPG remain at 39 points since I called them lowly, though to be fair, that's on par with the NHL's 2019-20 Red Wings (5 of their 39 were loser points too).
Looking at playoff races, ANA is 7 points back of MIN for 8th in the West, while 7 & 8 in the east are still technically up for grabs by the 9th place Bruins (maybe?) and 10th place Canes (ehhh I wouldn't bet on it).
