My fault on the late simulation gents, found myself a little bit sidetracked. These results will surely elicit a gamut of reactions. New Jersey finds an offensive spark and nearly shuts out the Rangers. The pesky Islanders force Philly to earn the second point in overtime. Tim's Caps should find some new doctors as Mike Modano returns from the retirement home as the next man in line.

Peter Budaj successfully enables "Mase" to take the night off against the Wild. Montreal earns two points at home against one of East's best clubs. Orphan Ottawa pulls off the biggest surprise of the night by taking care of the Blues. LEHTONEN! Tampa Bay and Los Angeles provide an entertaining preview of this season's SCF at The Forum. ;)

Patrice Bergeron records his first point as a Jet in a victory over the Leafs. Dallas gives Phoenix a scare until the 'Yotes come roaring back in the third. Steve Bernier is the latest unfortunate soul to hit IR at the hands of Kurt Sauer. Finally, Colorado runs and guns its way past da Hawks.

Another solid effort from Greiss... the guy can't seem to lose!

Farm team performance is sucking lately. I blame Alex Auld.

And seriously, Sauer took out someone else? Okay, he'll definitely be coming back next year. Sorry Blidstrand, looks like you're spending next year in the A as well.

Funny how the best shooter on my team always misses in shootouts. Also, I was wondering where Doan was in this game, but of course he scored the game-winning shootout goal. Figures. :D

You guys just need to shake things up a little. I'll help you out by taking Jarret Stoll back from you, Tim.

Pat, you can give me Slater. You're both welcome!

That's very surprising. Kuznetsov breaks out of the slump at the right time. Shots 25-15 for PIT? I guess that was a good night for Price. Lucky to be in that game.

You earned it. I got all these shots from the PP. Chara with 2 booming 110mph slappers!
