There will be no repeat. Solid conference final series unlike real NHL.
Re: May 9, 2012
The conference finals now have all four participants determined as the Sharks avoid a nail biting game seven at home. Phoenix held a 1-0 lead heading into the final period and then proceeded to allow three in the first ten minutes of the third. EHEC will once again crown a new champion as its 3rd season winds down.

Aw, fuck.
Oh well, we weren't even supposed to be here. Never thought we'd get past LA with 1/3 of our top six forwards injured, so anything past the first round was gravy.
Congratulations, Dan. Now go win it all and keep the Cup in the Pacific Division!

Clutch win? San Jose Sharks? Conference finals? I don't know what to say. Columbus is a tight matchup but hopefully they're all sleepy from having won last week and Jumbo Joe, Heatley, Getzlaf, Boyes and Cole have all been solid so far. Thanks for the swell series Parker, this makes up for whatever the hell happened last year.
3 teams that have never won a Cup before making it to the conference finals is pretty swell too, though Sharks - Penguins is the most sensible matchup. Jets - Blue Jackets sounds a little anachronistic and Blue Jackets - Penguins sounds like Napoleon invading opposite hemisphere Russia.
