Carolina jumps all over Toronto early only to have the Leafs score five unanswered on seventeen shots. Montreal is heating up as Savard and Hemsky continue to dazzle their foes. James' Wings pull the shocker of the evening, blanking the Penguins, and posting six goals of their own.

The 'Yotes collect their two points with all four tallies coming on the power play. Minnesota's youth comes through in a big way to defeat the Canucks in Vancouver.

Can't wait to see Dave and Bern's reactions. Too bad Phoenix couldn't lose too, there sure was an awful lot of one-sided reffing tonight.

....I didnt even touch my Lineup cause I knew the only way we were gonna leave North Carolina with a win is by pure luck and that's exactly what happened....

Edit: Carolina had has many PP shots as we had total shots, and of course we score on our only PP shot.

I guess I'll trade Kopitar and Michalek for soft motherfucking chumps like Loktionov and bring back Radek Bonk!

I do not expect a reaction from Dave whatsoever.
What I do expect though is Nashville's GM to go nuts and start looking for solutions.

Meh. It's a long season and I'm only 1 back of the Caps and Pens for #1 in the east, albeit with one more played. I might tweak my PK a bit but that's about it.

hey watch the name calling !!! :)

Bonk is strategically hidden on the 4th line and is perfect for that role. Loktiowho is a scoring maching that is a major defensive liability. Our coach seems to get the best of them with their limited talent.

I could get kopitar out of your hands for a couple more chumps if you'd like

Detroit is on fire!

And do not forget Backstrom. Maybe if you would have traded for Vermette between them!

and Loktionov....

Weird :?

I'll take the win obviously, but a little consistency from Bryzgalov would be nice too. At least the power play seems to be clicking!

And Dan, that wasn't lopsided reffing, that was Trogdor Burmistrov throwing a 36PE tantrum because he didn't get to Burminate anyone.
