Another busy night, as we plow through another ten games.

Stamkos, Malkin, and Kovalchuk once again provide New Jersey with just enough offense to claim two points. Philadelphia knocks off the Rangers in a very open contest, but lose a key forward (Briere) for an extended period. New York defenseman Rusty Klesla will sit out the next ten games.

The Pens' outshoot the Bruins, but fail to solve Tuukka Rask. Tampa Bay adds to Detroit's woes against Southeast opponents, while Nashville sweeps a home and home from Columbus.

Colorado's new additions are still getting acclimated to their new digs. Calgary thumps Edmonton and San Jose begins life without Kubina for a few games.

Just fucking ridiculous. Throw away points like that because your backup goalie cries if he doesn't play 20% of the games. Maybe you would if you didn't suck so bad. Also, I notice Forbort's morale is slumping because he's been injured for a few weeks. What the hell dude?

Fun fact: Anaheim was one goal short of Columbus' shot total.

Kickass.

Uh, except for the farm team. There's some growing pains going on there.

EDIT: And oh look, courtesy of a nice little six-game winning streak after that gut-wrenching loss to Dallas, your Phoenix Coyotes are now tied at the top of the EHEC standings with two games in hand over Boston. Yeah it's early, but it's nice to see what this team can do when it gets rolling.

Another great in win in this battle of Alberta!

Is Tomas Filippi on dope or what? I never would've guessed he'd be so effective... I mean, I kinda knew he'd be a good fit with Shawn Matthias but man, he's been nothing short of amazing thus far.

Also, Dion Phaneuf is heating up ... two perfect games in a row.
