A headshot will cost James van Riemsdyk two games for taking out Dallas's Matt Niskanen.

An epic shootout between the Red Wings and the Sharks ends thanks to Nikita Zaytsev. The Coyotes and Hurricanes roll on in spite of not submitting new lines following injuries during last night's sim. The Jets may be getting back on track after blowing out the Lightning, while the struggles continue for the Boston Bruins. The Habs take care of business on Hockey Night in Canada. Dallas and Minnesota both pick up a couple of surprising points, while the Eastern Conference darkhorse Panthers pick up another victory.

We can beat the good teams, and struggle with the bad teams. I don't get it.
E: Oh, come the fuck on with the injuries.

Sorry Adam, I'm in the Peg following my sister's wedding. I thought I'd be able to get to a computer in time to send in some new lines, but I just ended up getting drunk and high instead.

That's nine games in a row now, I believe.

That is kind of an insane shootout. I can only assume that Zaytsev did this:

No worries. I just didn't want you mad at me when Boyd Gordon played second line.

Guess it worked out.

I figured that's what would happen. He didn't play badly enough to cost his team the game, so I can't complain. :D

I didn't want to move Basaraba up and throw everything out of whack.

14-3 on the scoreboard over the last two contests. Unfortunately, still only nets four points, but hey that goal differential is looking up! Here's to this being the turning point.
