Joe Colborne will be suspended for the next two games for injuring Antoine Vermette.

An eventful night in EHEC tonight with a couple of overtime games, a shootout, and big wins from the teams fighting for a playoff spot in the East. The Jets get a monster effort from Brandon Gormley in their 3-2 win over the Capitals. The Sharks and Kings play a three-point game with Ryane Clowe's overtime game winner as the deciding goal. The Sabres pick up two huge points with a win over Nashville. Roberto Luongo is a stud for the Canucks in their overtime win over the Flames. The Hurricanes, Canadiens, and Coyotes take care of business at home. The Flyers are one of the hottest teams in EHEC, but it may be too little too late. Quinn's pissed with that shootout loss to the Sens.

Since equalling my EHEC best in wins, we've lost 4 straight. What a surprise.

^doesn't seem that way.
Happy with the 2 points there, Voracek gets an assist and a fight with a +1. However, this is concerning:

Games without a goal:

Marc Savard: 4 Games
Nick Bjugstad: 4 Games
David Backes: 4 Games (no pts in 4 either)
Ales Hemsky: 6 Games
Dan Boyle: 7 Games (no pts in 7 either)
Well, we can now cross Savard, Backes and Bjugstad off that list. That's the win I wanted to see. Slump busting win for the boys. Also WSH lost! woo!

All we got left is Hemsky with 7 games and Boyle with 8. Voracek is up to 8 or 9 I believe, but not with me. Got another assist atleast.

Rene Bourque resurrecting his career in TB, playing with Seguin might be helping.
Most recent file here.

Man, WTF is taking Tomas Hertl so long to sign his contract? Does he think he'll get more if he holds out? Is he talking to his agent to make sure that Salvia Praha or whatever team isn't going to give him $2M a season or what?

Image

I was gonna make a Boromir "one does not simply sign a prospect to an ELC contract" meme but when I saw this one I thought it was a pretty good fit. Aw hell, I'll make it anyway:

Also, go 'Yotes.

I could probably do away with adding a two-way to their contracts. Underagers don't count towards the AHL cap and u-25 clear waivers anyway. That holds up the process, especially with boosters.

Too bad we gave up the loser point but a win is a win. It'd be nice to start piling up a few in a row on this home stand.
