Kuehnhackl = back-to-back hat tricks. Guess I should leave him on the first line after all.

And smooth move, Coach O'Connell, not putting TK in on the shootout.

Tonight's blown 3-1 leads belong to the Rangers and the Flyers. The Rangers fall in a skills competition despite an 8-0 powerplay edge and a 16-shot advantage. The Flyers fall at home to the Blackhawks 4-3 as Marian Hossa pots a pair, including the game-winner on the PK. The Panthers get a shutout from John Gibson and the Penguins get a shutout from Justin Pogge in 4-0 victories. EHM may have decided to give the Devils the impromptu slump, as they fall again tonight, this time to the Jets. A good night for the Capitals' powerplay with three tallies in a 5-2 win.

Of course San Jose and Phoenix play a three-point game. Ryan Getzlaf's 6 on 5 goal ties it and the Predators of the Sea pick up the extra point in the talent competition. The Flames pick up two much-needed points to keep pace in the West with a 4-2 win over the Ducks.

Figured it was a 50/50 game as my test sims were 5-5, with each team winning 5-3 pretty much but 4-0 is pretty f'ing ridiculous. Oh well.

Damn, what a way to win. Thanks Getzlaf. Only one more game to go against Colorado before a home and home vs LA, but Jumbo should finally be back by then for the home stretch. Although, funnily enough, his morale is slumping from being out of the lineup...

Fairly even match aside from the goaltending, props to Gibby for bailing the Cats out on the PK, props to Ellis being thrown to the Wolves. Panthers. Whatever.

First OT/SO loss of the year. Greiss wasn't terrible, he just gave up a goal at the worst possible time, and didn't do anything to acquit himself in the shootout. Not sure why Korpikoski was the second shooter, but neither him nor 99SH Boedker could get the job done.

Fuckin' Radulov and Getzlaf. At least it wasn't a blowout, anyway.
