Brian Sutherby will sit out the next two games for taking out Rostislav Olesz.

26 of the 30 teams were in action on a busy Saturday night in EHEC. We'll start in New Jersey, where the Devils get a taste of their own medicine as the Habs light the lamp seven times in a convincing 7-1 victory. Edward Pasquale moves to 3-0 with a 1.33 GAA and a .925 SV% as the Lightning surprise the Coyotes with a 3-1 win. The Jackets' winning streak continues with some late game heroics from David Elsner and shootout goals from Joonas Donskoi and John Moore, as they down the Ducks 4-3.

It's a good night for the Jets as they beat the Senators 3-1. To make things better, the Bruins fall to the Capitals 3-1, despite outshooting the Caps by 11. The Panthers fall to the Islanders and the Sabres fall to the Penguins, both by 5-3 finals. The Kings get a solid effort from Steve Mason and beat the Sharks 3-2. Antero Niitymaki does just enough to help the Blues upset the Hurricanes 4-3 in overtime. The Avalanche have a lot of fun at the expense of the Yakupov and Kabanov-less Wild with a 7-0 rout.

In the battle of the backups, Liam Liston outduels Jonathan Quick to avenge the Rangers' recent loss to the Leafs. da Hawks win and the Red Wings blank the Orphanucks with two goals from both Patrik Elias and Taylor Beck.

So Sutherby plays for the first time in a couple weeks and goes batshit, thus proving he really likes the MSG press box.

Hey, Mike, the good news is you finally got rid of Olesz.

Typical ehm bull. Thornton comes back from injury slumping, gets 2 assists his first game back and is still slumping.

Oh well, at least Phoenix lost. and Justin, your team still sucks, so maybe it's a bit early to be starting up the trash talk again.

Who's this Travis Moen guy?

Man, this offense is unbelieveable lately. 19 goals in our past 3.

Kostitsyn the hat-trick, Backes gets out of the slump, while Savard quietly puts up 2 points, and Hemsky 2 points. Colby Cohen two assists as well.

Dan Ellis posts a nice game. I wasn't going to be shocked if the result was the other way the way he's played lately.

If a 3-2 home win counts as a "beatdown" for you, that explains a lot about your last two seasons.

Oh and Quinn, go ahead and keep winning, I'd love to see COL 1st fall out of the top 10 picks 8-)
