Re: Florida Contracts
For future reference, Zaq, E5 bonuses are added prior to the calculation of the formula.
Both contracts entered. Not sure Granberg will sign, since <25 don't like 6 year deals. But I'll fix it.

Yeorks.
I guess I missed out on arbitration? Somehow? My head's been elsewhere, clearly.
Weiss, Kariya and Ribeiro... hmm.
Qualify Brickley, Robak and Archibald, at the very least, if I can't come up with salary figures (good to know about the e5 bonuses, ouch tho.)
AHL superstar AJ Jenks needs a contract too. The rest... eh.

Re: Florida Contracts
E5's have already been added to the file.
Brickley:
Current: 950k
Fastsim avg: 85.5
Raise: 450%
New base: 5.7M
FA bonus: 100k
Total: 5.8M
Archibald:
Current: 1.15M
Fastsim avg: 67.5
Raise: 100% ("Tyler Myers Rule" bracket)
New base: 2.3M
Def spec bonus: 350k
CON 80+: 250k
SH, PL devaluations: -200k
Total: 2.7M
Robak:
Current: 400k
Fastsim avg: 70.5
Raise: 100%
New base: 800k
Def spec bonus: 350k
SH, PL devaluations: -200k
Total: 950k
Weiss: Stephen Weiss is right in line with Corey Perry, whose arbitration can be found here. Higher SH, not as valuable as a C as Perry, who has 99 FA. Less balanced defensively, slightly higher CON. If I had to guess, the agent would have cited Perry's 5.5M as a comp. You probably would have offered around 4.25-4.5, at least, I would hope so. That would make 5M the midpoint. Is 5M a doable figure for Weiss?
Kariya: With the LE bump, gimme 3.5M for Kariya and you can keep him.
Ribeiro: This was a rights arbitration case that I never sent. I've got a number from my arbitrator. Ribeiro wants to test the market, so your number has to be 105% of the arbitrator's number. You can either post your proposed salary amount or PM it to me. Keep in mind that you cannot offer less than 80% of the previous year's salary.
Remember that with rights arbitration, my "agent" serving as an arbitrator is not making the case for his client, but simply giving an impartial number.

Re: Florida Contracts
Brickles, Arch and Robo are fine.
Weiss, fine.
Kariya, fine.
Jenks gets what he's asking for? on a two-way?
Ribeiro... Is not as good as Derek Roy, better than Andy McDonald, and similar to Saku Koivu, yet needs to make 80% of 5mil. And if I guess wrong, the arbitrator laughs in my face. 4.1mil?

Re: Florida Contracts
I forgot to offer Brickley, Archibald, and Robak before the rollover. My bad. I manually entered them after the summer rolled over. Also Hurley's ELC.
