Re: January 20, 2014
No big injuries, no suspensions, and a ton of power play goals tonight.
Boston dominates LA at home; Philly dominates the Fishsticks on the road but still comes up short; Florida's special teams have a pretty stout night but they get throttled at even strength; Kari Lehtonen loses it for the Blues; Chet Pickard stands on his head for the Preds; Phoenix rides two power play goals to beat a tough Leafs team; and the Sharks score twice late to squeak past the Flames in a battle of President's Cup contenders.

Re: January 20, 2014
Great home stand despite clearly missing Connolly and Namestnikov. The real test will be the dreaded Western Canadian road trip with stops in Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver, and then another home stand that includes games against LA and Pittsburgh. The stretch up to the Olympics is gonna be a real test, but at least the team will be back to full strength after the break.
Re: January 20, 2014
Portland is slowly climbing the standings too, now that all my 2011 farm filler draft picks are starting to hold their own.

The Andrew Cogliano experience continues. Who would've thought he could center a great H&G 3rd line? Well who cares, he can.
I also just realized this is only my team's 22nd home game out of 50 so far, so 19 of the last 32 will be at home. What the hell, schedule?
