A rare extremely busy week night in EHEC with lots going on. Staios puts Cheechoo out of action for a month, my wonderful AHL affiliate manages 5 shots and our new Pittsburgh GM seems to have things well in order. The Caps and Sabres are building on a rivalry, three games were decided by the shootout while we had three different multi-goal scorers in Detroit. All the details and more are right here: http://www.ehechockey.com/EHEC.zip

Varlamov comes up huge in the shootout and Vanek steals the first star on the road. Where's the home team bias?! GG Nick, we'll meet again in two weeks.

Actually somewhat surprised I was able to steal a point tonight. The PP continues clicking and Vanek continues to stuff them in. Hopefully I'll be able to pull one off against them in a couple weeks. It's also nice to see most of my division falter tonight; even more opportunity to catch up.

Ryan, I'm gunnin' for you next.

EDIT: "Where's the home team bias"? Ovechkin clearly gloved that puck into the net, I don't care what the replay says. If that's not home team bias, I don't know what is :P . Good game though man, I'll be waiting until next time. Oddly enough, I'll actually be at that game in real life. Hopefully I can pull off the EHEC/NHL sweep.

Pfft ass handed to him, what gives you that impression? Did you see the fight? He was just trying to do you a favour and get that floating garbage off your team. Whatever at least my boys down in Lowell had a nice night, Colborne at PPG pace since being aquirred so thats good news need to get some young d in the system badly though.

Thanks for the help, Dan. Much appreciated.

Lots of extra time today. Very realistic.

Tim, that's my only issue with the shootout .exe. EHM already has its stars and whatnot decided, so they don't change. Safe to say AO would have been first star if it made a difference to EHM.

Either way, lots of good games tonight. Glad to see it.

Nice to finally see that godawful losing streak ended and against da Hawks no less. Thank you Dany Heatley, don't ever change or drive a car too fast again.

Pretty good slump breaker for Radulov too.

I don't have a problem with it. I thought that NHL arenas pick the stars before the game is even finished in regulation, but maybe someone else knows how it works in real life.

Isn't that Shea Weber's second OT GWG this season? Talk about making your goals count.

Against Montreal a couple of weeks ago. He's having an average season but still... making the team wins is the most important thing :D
