Chicago thin's draft review

Post by BlackHawk Down (Seb) »

With only late picks, the Chicago Blackhawks tried to find lost stars in the remaining player pool.

In the 6th round, Chicago selected D-man Simon Bourque. He knows for is awesome shot on the PP but lacks skills on the defensive end. The Hawks liked the Rimouski player because I can bring it during practice with lasers from the blueline.
At 6'01, Bourque as the height to make it to the NHL but lacks muscles so far. We can bet that he will be often in the weight room in the next few months.

In the 7th round, Chicago opted for BC native Dryden Hunt. Hunt is known for his hard work and and as unproven offensive skills. We will see if he gets better with the puck during the next few years. He is a project and will spent some more time in the junior and the AHL for sure.
