A. General managers can modify their team lines using the GM Office control panel, at https://ehec.pro/gmcp.php. By clicking Submit Lineup (either for the NHL or AHL team), they will upload a .lns file to the league’s server and update the teams.ehm file, which the designated simmer will load into EHM prior to simming the night’s games.
Lines must be submitted prior to 8:30 PM ET on sim nights to guarantee inclusion in the next sim. Lines submitted after this point will be included if the simmer has not begun for the night; once they have, and following the simulation procedure, line submission will be disabled until the sim is complete.
B. Players are restricted to their natural or alternate position as determined by EHM. However, forwards can play any position on the powerplay, including defense.
C. The "Hit & grind" and "Neutral zone trap" tactics can be used for a maximum of 70 seconds combined, on a maximum of two (2) lines, and cannot be used on the first line. The first line must play at least 30-second shifts, and any other line must play at least 20-second shifts. The maximum single-line length for a H&G or NZT line is 50 seconds.
D. Incomplete lines and lines that contain injured, suspended, traded or demoted players will be filled using scratched players or the farm team affiliate, starting with the highest overall (OA) player at the required position. Lines with numerous errors will be auto-lined for that day’s sim.
E. Injured players who are considered "day-to-day" (DtD) will be activated from injured reserve (IR)
unless the simmer is instructed otherwise.
