We like this trade, for two reasons
We get solid player return Wolski may replace JVR in HIT line; Draisaitl is average prospect
So far we haven't any 1st rounds, now we have 3 and penguins future was saved

Every player is available when you have as many 1st rounders as I had going in the next 3 drafts.
In terms of talent, I feel like my team is able to hold it's own against the best competition and we're still young so I didn't mind parting with the earlier picks from my stack.

I feel like we can contend this year and the next from a short term financial standpoint and this group will only get better with time.

So I don't mind overpaying in order to land the player I wanted.
