Home teams are only awarded the loser's point tonight as the Ducks and the Leafs both win in OT.
Jeff Carter and Joel Eriksson Ek are tonight's heros.

Re: October 16
Nashville still needs a callup.
Still over the cap:
WPG = at 60,214,000 ; need to be 57,971,377
NYI = at 58,050,000 ; need to be 58,015,316
NSH = at 58,380,000 ; need to be 57,969,103

Edited those teams myself and I think they'd be fine now...Vik (Habs) wrote:Nashville still needs a callup.

Would you re-run the numbers, please?

All is well so long as Chris doesn't mind Rubtsov being his second underager.Calgary.Flames wrote:Would you re-run the numbers, please?

Is this taking into account the release of John Negrin? If so, would releasing Zdeno Chara bring me back to being cap compliant? Thanks in advance and my apologies for the hassle.Vik (Habs) wrote:Nashville still needs a callup.

Yes. You can look into the financials thread. First couple posts will give you a clear indication. I know Vik updates his post almost after every sim, you'll be able to tell if the info is up-to-date looking at when he last edited his post.JetsGM wrote:Is this taking into account the release of John Negrin? With Zharkov back, you had 24 players. All I did was send Kulmala and Hart down, bringing your roster down to 22.
60,214,000 - (1,200,000 + 1,360,000) = 57,654,000
I'm trying to get you guys decent lineups when there's no instructions given but at some point I might not be that nice and will eventually use the computer generated lines.
People should start changing their players' positions so that they match where they're actually playing in case that happens. Teams should have at least 4 guys at each forward position and 6Ds.

Roster should be sorted now and will release Chara to come cap correct for the next sim.

Re: October 16
The Negrin buyout actually added very slightly to your cap. He was at 3.16M so on the farm he counted for 2.36M against you (3.16 - 0.8) whereas the buyout is 2.37M (3.16 * .75).
Buying out Chara will save you a little (5.76M * .75 = 4.32M) but only 640k more than burying him in the minors would.
