I trade a potential top pair two-way d-man with low CON for a stay-at-home d-man with high CON and I like it.
Roy makes up for the difference in salary while Bird is to make sure NYR's not getting an extra contract.

Kylington has a lower CON than Theodore, but he's a younger and overall more rounded player, with a high ceiling.

Roy gives me a decent upgrade for the bottom six, and Bird was just eating a contract spot.
