Nothing crazy here. Usually after Round 2, prospects tend to level off. No doubt Round 3 will have more talent than 4, etc. etc. but the fall is less steep than 1->2 and 2->3.

I have 18 unsigned prospects and DET only has 7. This will leave me with a 2nd and 3rd this year, which will help keep the pool, while DET can restock for both NHL and AHL.

Nothing sexy but every little bit counts.

Confirmed, quantity over quality for me here. The value of players at 98/104 are probably not that much lower than 72, so figured why not take the picks to move down in this case
