Pleasure doing business ARZ. Fleury played well as he pretty much always has (though he did make a crap ton of saves - how many shots did my dang defense let up last year...) but with the way I've rebuilt, I need the salary. Hellberg is a serviceable replacement, and while he still makes 2.5 so I don't save a TON, his contract is for 2 years (well, 1 left with this year not off yet) which is important to me for Dal Colle negotiations (Fleury has 1 more).

I really like Nylander - his lack of defense aside, the guy is young and a great playmaker on a fine contract. I think he single-handedly got Johansen his 31g season. While he would have been fine again on my line 2, when the Hischier deal went through, he no longer fit in my top 6. He's not a bottom 6 guy.

Obviously Eager is what he is, a cheap bottom forward with good defense, which I could use, and a middling 2nd to even out value.

I accept, get a #1 in Fleury to carry the load adding nylander gives me a playmaker i can leave as my 3rd C or slide him into the 2nd LW spot. This is the 1st domino to fall in the desert adding a young versatile F and a #1 G.
