Colorado Avalanche were racing and were heading to get into the playoffs for the first time in EHEC history.

But in a cruel end, for the Avalanche, Dallas managed to get an important win over the Blues to cement and confirm the Dallas Stars place in the 2024 Stanley Cup playoffs.

The heroes of the game were undoubtedly captain Joel Armia and rising star Noel Gunler.

As an 8th seed, Dallas Stars will face regular season winners San Jose Sharks as their first opponent in the play-offs.
