Prospects on the Island!

1. Marco Rossi
Drafted in 2020, Rossi now 20 is looking to make a splash with the farm club and perhaps show up in the bigs at some point this season. Rossi is small but quick with a decent shot.

Likely Top 6 Winger

2. Jesper Wallstedt
A bigger goalie at 6'3" but not as big as the other guy Cossa. Jesper projects to be the starter the team has long been looking for. We shall see where things go as GM Chris has recently been signing tenders to short term cheap deals that save on cap space. A longer term will eat some of that up eventually but he's on a very friendly ELC at less than 2M per. Could end up in the bigs this spring

Projects as Future Starter

3. Anton Lundell
Another from the 2020 draft, Anton now 20 and also on the farm will develop with Rossi and build some chemistry together. Lundell could be a second or 2rd line C for the team at at 6'2 he'd be no push over.

Projects as 2nd line winger

4. Matvi Guskov
Matvi has the most experience of anyone on the list, but still ranks as a prospect. He's pretty much capped out at his defensive levels and will likely sneak into a roster spot when injuries in the bottom 6 arise.

Projects as bottom 6 winger.

5. Maxim Groshev
Sneaking into the top 5 is Max, who snuck into the preason top 10 goal leaders with 4 goals in 4 games. He's not likely to put up those kinds of points though the regular season but will likely join Matvi in a bottom 6 role.

Projects as bottom 6 winger

6 Seth Jarvis
While there was some hope for offensive flash this preseason, Jarvis will return to juniors and develop further. A sniper with speed to fly.

Projects as top 6 winger

7. Samuel Helenus
At 6'6" he's one of the tallest players and there is hope he'll be that #3 center position. Drafted just this year he's got time to develop.

Projects at bottom 6 player

8. William Francis
This kids got some thundering hits in him coming soon but will need to develop quickly. Likely will battle for a 7th D man spot in the future, William was a long shot to make the team but has the guts to make those big hits! Plus he can play wing.

Projects bottom pairing Dman

9 Liam Gilmartin
Liam is a long shot and needs to really work to develop this year. He's been given every shot to succeed so far and there is hope he'll find that next "pot boost" level!

Projects bottom 6 forward.

10. Yevgeni Oksentyuk
A long shot to make the bigs, little Yev is the little engine. At 5'7 he's the smallest and will have to work the hardest to make any impact as a sniper. He's got some skills and hands and thinks the game well but might just be too small for the size of the EHEC.

Projects top line AHL forward.
