A bit low on time tonight, so very quick roundup:
-there were three holding the stick and three hooking penalties in the Islanders 5-4 win over Buffalo, which I find interesting for some unknown reason.
-Pittsburgh improved on both goals for and goals against compared to last game, going from losing 7-0 to a wild 5-5 tie.
-The battle of Alberta had one powerplay, one fight, and 7 third period goals, including three in the last 4 minutes of the game. Evander Kane tied things up with the goalie pulled and Tuomo Ruutu scored the winner in OT.

Also entered the Pacioretty waiver claim as it's been more than 24 hours

Alright, thanks to a 5-1 edge in powerplays, a 37-20 advantage in challenges, 28-7 takeaways vs giveaways, we were able to grind out a one-goal win against the 12th seed in the West mere days after being shut out by the 15th seed. That's noice! 69 points noice!
