Fairly quick and simple.
Toronto's extra practices worked, as they defeated Boston 3-1 despite losing the special teams battle.
The Devils took this one of the battles of New York/New Jersey with a 4-2 result, Jonathan Drouin opening the scoring with 13 seconds left in the first and ending it with 28 seconds left in the third (the latter being an empty net goal).
Two goals by Crosby and a goal and an assist for Stamkos and Svechnikov led the Lightning to a 4-1 victory over Buffalo.
Jack Campbell made 42 saves on 43 shots (including all 17 on the 5 powerplays) as the Wings and Capitals played out to a 1-1 tie.
The Jets' went 3 for 6 on the powerplay to defeat Vancouver 6-2, Eberle with 2 goals.
And finally, the shock of the night, as San Jose actually managed to win a game during my sims, Kaapo Kakko putting home a pair and Jeff Carter picking up 3 assists in a 5-2 win. Both teams were poor on the penalty kill or good on the powerplay, with the Sharks 3 for 7 and Anaheim 1 for 1.
No one clinched a playoff spot tonight, but Vancouver and Washington were officially eliminated. Sorry folks.
