Homepage, Schedule & Results, League Save File

The night started with San Jose shooting out to a 2-0 lead after not even 2.5 minutes, Kopitar and Getzlaf with the goals. Chicago started to strike back, first with Horton early in the 2nd, then with Seguin and Ward early in the third. Was it going to be the end for San Jose's playoff run? It was.... not! Three straight goals from Carter, Marchenko, and Backstrom (the last being into an empty net) means the scene shifts back to Chicago for game 7.

In the second game, I will start with the thing everyone wants to know:
Who did Zack Kassian punch this time?
And the answer is... Patrik Nemeth, Patrik Nemeth, and Patrik Nemeth. Yes, they managed to pair off for three off-setting roughing penalties.
On the other side of the score sheet, Cammalleri opened the scoring in the first, while Grigorenko and Sprong goals in the first half of the second left Edmonton with a hill to climb. Jonathon Blum got one back in the second, and Tuomo Ruutu made it 3-2 with about 15 minutes to go. But was this the end for Edmonton? Well, yes, it was ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And so we have a game 7! And, more importantly, at least four more games of Zack Kassian penalties. With 48 PIM from 13gp, what should we set the over/under at? Maybe 75? Since we don't know if he'll play 4 more or 14 more. I hope he hits 100.

Alright game 7!! Go big or go home!! Slightly better odds for go home but we'll take 'em!

Also, Ripley's probably going to play because of that stupid pathetic suspension only lasting four games so it's guaranteed to be a shitshow!

Never should've lost to Dallas. Maybe time to rebuild/retool.

Not saying he's got a bad team; Martin has come a long way from overpaying for/stacking goaltenders. But losing all 4 games by a single goal and Tippett/RNH/Tkachuk having a brutal Round 2 shouldn't have happened.

Small sample sizes. Hurts the most. It's the "had a 70% to win the poker hand, but flipped the 30%." Bet was still correct, even if the low % card came up. That said I'm not so sure I'm any better when it happens to me, like tonight / game 7
