Detroit, Minnesota and Colorado come into the night below .500 and wind up as the only home teams to score wins. Go figure. Tyler Myers (SJ) crushed Phillip Kurashev (ARI) for a month, costing him a 2-game suspension and partly the win. Jacob Markstrom's hot streak is definitely over, even though he got pulled after two periods but somehow not credited with the loss (???). Brendan Perlini (PIT) also snuck in a greasy elbow into Teemu Pulkkinen's face, narrowly avoiding suspension by taking him out for a mere two weeks and maybe dinner as an apology.

Demko finally decided to show up. Gets into a goalie scrap during a line brawl and gets his first win of the season.

OK, he didn't even get the win - it was tied when he got kicked out.

Nice to see my former Flames (Marchenko, Kulikov, Phaneuf) all chipping in.

Also, 13 points for Aleksi Heponiemi in his last four games in the AHL.

So my last three games have been 4-1, 3-1, and 2-1 victories, I guess my next one will be a 1-1 tie, followed by a 2-1 loss?
Also have to say, was not expecting to follow up a 6 game losing streak with a 3 (or more) game winning streak.
